Hubby's on disability
My husband has been out of work on disability since the Friday before Halloween. I love him dearly, but he's getting a bit bored. We share a love of the game Zombie Pets on facebook and quite frankly are a bit too broke to buy a new limited edition zombie that we both want. He decided to start promoting my shop in the group forum asking someone to please buy something so we would have the money to spend on the game....He kills me sometime, it did make for a lively conversation and at one point I was laughing so hard I was crying. Now more people know about the store, unfortunately they are all broke too. So in short I love my hubby, he got the store name out there, laughter was had by all, and we are all broke but loved.

A Lesson in Patience
Now don't get me wrong, I never thought this was going to be easy. I just didn't realize how obsessed I would become with checking my shop for sales. So maybe this is not a lesson in patience, but a lesson about myself that I'm learning here. Either way I'm still learning and that is a good thing....right?

A New Chapter
I have just opened a shop selling hand made items by me. I never would have thought that I would be doing this, but here I am. It's been an interesting trip so far and I can honestly say that at another time I would not have jumped through the hoops that one must to do business in this state. I can imagine there are a few out there that just find the process exhausting and therefore out of their reach.
The shop is on Etsy and is called MrsBudda's Attic. I am currently selling knit and crochet stitch markers and a scarf, there will be random knit items up for sale as they are made. (though this is Christmas knitting time and what I'm making is so not for sale)
Wish me luck :)
